Summer Sundays

During the summer we offer one service at 10 a.m.

In the Summmer, Memorial Day through Labor Day, RE students in Kindergarten through 4th grade meet in a multi-age group simultaneous to the service in the sanctuary. Summer Sundays for children are less formal and include care for the gardens in our Nature Playground, play under the parachute canopies of our sandboxes and our friendly climbing tree, as well as a curriculum topic. On holiday weekends, Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day, we will offer child care only, with no curriculum topic. Summer 2012, we will be using the “Sources” curriculum for families from the Church of the Larger Fellowship http://clf.uua.org/ . Our younger RE students meet together in a combined Nursery/Preschool that will be very informal. Older RE students are invited to attend the services in the Sanctuary, which will focus on our UU Sources. The Summer Sunday Supervisor is Rose DuCharme.
