Neighborhood Connections

Neighborhood Connectors Program: Connecting and Supporting Our Community by Neighborhoods

The Neighborhood Connectors Program fosters connections and deepens community among members and friends who live near each other. The designated geographical “neighborhoods” (see below) are overseen by volunteer Neighborhood Connectors. The Connectors organize at least one social event during the year to help members and friends get acquainted. The program also replaces the Caring Committee, so the Connectors serve as the points of contact when individuals/families have special needs (meals, transportation to Sunday services or appointments, childcare, and visits to those who are ill or elderly). Neighborhood Connectors also make referrals to Rev. Lydia for pastoral needs within their neighborhoods. Below are the neighborhoods and the names of the Neighborhood Connectors.
