One of the functions of the Board is to represent the Fellowship in interactions with the UUA and other organizations. I’m happy to report that four of us are registered for the Nov. 18 UUA Pacific Western Region Board Development Day in Fort Collins. Recently, several of us attended the October MDD District Assembly in Boulder and participated in the September Intercultural Development Inventory session in Golden. We feel well-connected with neighboring congregations and strongly supported by UUA leadership.

During our goal setting process at the leadership retreat in August we resolved to work towards deepening our collaborative connections with our broader community. For the Board specifically, we aim for Board presence at relevant events in the Lafayette Community and at the Fellowship. For example, some of us attended the Sanctuary Series held by the Immigration Justice Task Force this summer, participated in the hunger banquet held by the School of the Spirit, and walked the Crop Walk led by Elliot Good and Dianne Ladd in Boulder.

The Board is making an effort to support your outreach to the community and is inviting all who are organizing events to reach out to us. If you welcome an official touch by having BVUUF Board of Trustees’ representation please don’t hesitate to invite us.
