Racial Justice Communiteam is kicking off a Racial Justice-themed film series.

Friday, Jan. 13, at 7 p.m. in the Sanctuary. The kick-off feature will be the 2015 GA Ware lecture by Cornell West. Breakout group discussion opportunities & the usual theater fare will be offered – popcorn, soda pop, & movie-style boxed candy. For more information, see the January 2017 Connections!

We invite you to join this book discussion group sponsored by BVUUF’s Racial Justice team. The intention is to meet several times on each book selection to deepen in relationship to the book’s contents, its connection to us as Unitarian Universalists, and to how we are called to respond.

Raising Race-Conscious Children November 2015: Want to increase your personal toolkit for spreading race consciousness? You may want to check out this workshop at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22 at the Fellowship. Parents, teachers, UU educators, and anyone who interacts with children on a regular basis may find this workshop to be a valuable experience. $5 suggested donation.
