 9 and 11 a.m. K-up – Make Latkes  and Play the Dreydl Game for Hanukkah! We need a helper at 11 a.m. to help cook latkes.

9 a.m. – 1st/2nd Grade OWL meets. Heather Munro, Deborah Mensch and Carol Hughes, leaders with Judy Feland and Gwen Murphy, assistants.

Early Childhood Room for Nursery/Preschool – with Miss Ari, early childhood teacher.

  • Family Friendly Yule Celebration & Potluck Dec 20th
    As the Wheel of the Year turns once more, come make merry with song and ritual to celebrate the transition from dark to light. Using a Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans’ Yule service, we will rejoice as the Winter Goddess, Lady of the Moon, births the return of light and restores the Sun God, Lord of the Oak.
    5-6pm Ritual; 6-8pm Potluck & Activities
    Bring a dish to share for the potluck.
    Coloring pages & activities will be available for children.
    Kelly LoGiudice will lead with assistance from Andrea & Kevin Wieland, Debbie Davies, Sheila Brown, Brian Kenyon, Larry Laverdure & Charlene Jourdan. Music performed by Ellen Laverdure, Sheila Brown & Charlene Jourdan
    Location: Boulder Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 1241 Ceres Drive, Lafayette, CO 80026, in the Sanctuary

    • Dec. 13 – Mitten Tree, DanceJam
    • Dec. 20 – Winter Solstice and Project HOPE.
    • Dec. 24, 3 and 5 p.m. No Rehearsal Christmas Eve Pageant, Carols, and Candlelight Service for families. The 8 p.m. service is more reflective and features the Adult Choir.
    • Dec. 27 (one service at 10 a.m.) take down hall decor; informal games
    • Jan. 3 – Mini-Retreat for the New Year – featuring yoga, a winter walk, a fire circle, Zen and Conflict, Music to Move You, Angel Healing, Dances of Universal Peace and Life Collage for all ages. Orchard Creek Bluegrass Gospel band and refreshments between services.
