This Week’s Highlights

  1. This Sunday Service: March 17th (Services at 9:00am and 11:00am)
    “Beauty Fills the Soul”
Catharine Harris, Worship Leader; Silvine Farnell, Worship Associate
Sometimes, we feel the woes of life more than the joys because of problems of work, family, our nation, or world. But then perhaps we experience a truth, or an act of goodness, or a moment of beauty peeking through our lives and we are lifted. We are grateful. The role of beauty in life is part of our UU living tradition whether in the words of William Ellery Channing, Ralph Waldo Emerson, or the contemporary Rev. Rebecca Parker.

  2. This Sunday’s Half Plate will benefit I Have A Dream – Eagle Class. Sponsored in 2012, the Eagle Dreamer Class consists of 50 Dreamers who started out in the second and third grade at Escuela Bilingue Pioneer in Lafayette. They were the second class sponsored by the multi-donor approach, meaning numerous sponsors stepped up to sponsor one or more Dreamers for a period of 10 years.
  3. This week’s Religions Education can be found at March 17th RE Update.
