Children and youth are invited to explore what is meaningful to them through play, craft, and deep discussion. Join us as we create community and engage with social justice. Groups for children and youth aged 2.5 and up are offered at 10:00 a.m. on most Sunday mornings during the service.
As we approach the 200th anniversary of Rev. Thomas Starr King’s birth, Pastor AJ Blackwood will lead us in reflecting Starr Kings's dedication to a nation free of slavery and oppression. We will celebrate Starr King's unwavering commitment to justice and unity. Known for his bold words, Starr King famously declared, “I pledged California to a Northern Republic and to a flag that should have no treacherous threads of cotton in its warp…” Join us as we honor Starr King’s legacy, exploring how his courage inspires us today to stand firm for justice, compassion, and truth in our own communities.
