Children’s Chapel with Rainbow Loom bracelets, Kids Book cart, Summer Camp, Middle School Overnight, and more! 

9 and 11 a.m. Preschool/Nursery– “Puppets wonder about the Moon” With Juliette Mettes, high school staff, and helper needed, 9 a.m., Morgan Sherwood, helper at 11 a.m.

9 a.m. and 11 a.m.Kindergarten – Youth “Children’s Chapel – Covenant means Promise” –  Girl Scouts have a Promise and so do we. We say, “we covenant” in our Principles, which means “we promise.”  What happens when we break a promise? How to we keep being friends? To help us remember our covenant with each other we will be making a promise bracelet with Rainbow Looms. If you have one you can share, please bring it. The older kids will help the younger kids. with Katie Covey.

8:45 a.m. – 10:15 a.m. – 7/8th Grade Our Whole Lives does not meet this week.

7-12th grades – Attend the service or help with the Chapel.

12:15 8/9th Grade Coming of Age – no meeting this week.

Nine kids are going from BVUUF/UUCB!
Children’s Book Cart! Gail Evertz is creating a Children’s Book Cart similar to the cart of adult books at Unity Plaza, on Sunday Mar. 3. Donations of children’s books, CD’s and DVD’s welcome, bring to the RE office. Books will be sold to benefit the School of the Spirit Fund. Thanks to Sue Mundell for helping to fund the cart!

Summer Arts Jam, June 2-6, 2014. Our Day Camp for Preschool – 5th graders. Registration is now  online. Visit the Summer Camp Page for more information.

Easter Can Hunt needs a head rabbit! This simple event after each service on Easter Sunday, April 20, is described here. We hunt for cans of food to benefit Boulder County AIDS project food pantry. Youth Group hides the cans. Interested? See Katie.

SpiritJam 14/15 – Aligning Thematic Ministry for Children, Youth and Adults.  That’s the proposal for turning RE upside down next year. We will be offering a SpiritJam Pilot March 9, 16, and 23.  Read the Overview online, or come to the March 2 Sunday Service or visit with Katie.

Teaching Assistants and Playground Monitors are needed for the Winter and Spring. Visit the Volunteer Page for Sign Up Calendars. These are great ways to get to know our program. No preparation needed.
