Easter Can Hunt help needed, Day Camp registration is open, Children’s Book Cart, plus the Bible Tale for this Sunday – Joseph. Joseph is a complicated story! Sibling rivalry, betrayal, premonitions and dreams. And just WHY does Joseph set up his brother for stealing? 

9 a.m. Preschool/Nursery– “Puppets love Valentine’s Day” With Juliette Mettes, high school staff, and Solymar Kneale, helper.

9 a.m. Kindergarten – 6th Grade “Joseph” –  by Brian Wildsmith.  Hope Collins, teacher and T.A. needed.

8:45 a.m. – 10:15 a.m. – 7/8th Grade Our Whole Lives with Emily Conger and Scott McCollom.

9 a.m. 7-12th grades – Attend the service or help in a younger group.

10:10 a.m. Youth Choir Rehearsal – Melissa Williams, Choir Director

11 a.m. Puppet Preschool/Nursery– “Puppets love Valentine’s Day” With Juliette Mettes, high school staff, and Morgan Sherwood, helper.

11 a.m. Kindergarten – 3rd Grades: “Joseph” with Stephanie Moriarity and TA needed.  See description for 9 a.m.

Announcements: 

Children’s Book Cart! Gail Evertz is creating a Children’s Book Cart similar to the cart of adult books at Unity Plaza, on Sunday Mar. 3. Donations of children’s books, CD’s and DVD’s welcome, bring to the RE office. Books will be sold to benefit the School of the Spirit Fund. She is hoping to split the cost of the cart with an interested family ($70 each).

Summer Arts Jam, June 2-6, 2014. Our Day Camp for Preschool – 5th graders. Registration is now  online. Visit the Summer Camp Page for more information.

Easter Can Hunt needs a head rabbit! This simple event after each service on Easter Sunday, April 20, is described here. We hunt for cans of food to benefit Boulder County AIDS project food pantry. Youth Group hides the cans. Interested? See Katie.

SpiritJam 14/15 – Aligning Thematic Ministry for Children, Youth and Adults.  That’s the proposal for turning RE upside down next year. We will be offering a SpiritJam Pilot March 9, 16, and 23.  Read the Overview online, or come to the March 2 Sunday Service or visit with Katie.

Fifth Grade OWL is getting ready! We will likely be offering it at UU Church of Boulder, as a collaborative effort on 8 Sundays (over March – May;9:00 – 10:15 a.m.) Registration will be up soon. Let Katie know if you are interested.

Teaching Assistants and Playground Monitors are needed for the Winter and Spring. Visit the Volunteer Page for Sign Up Calendars. These are great ways to get to know our program. No preparation needed.
