Ellen Saunders Duncan

Ellen Saunders Duncan
Religious Education & Youth Coordinator

Ellen is a life-long Unitarian Universalist, raised in congregations in Pennsylvania and North Carolina. At the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, she led the UU Campus Fellowship, and became very involved in the supporting congregation, working with youth programming like Coming of Age and the High School Youth Group, and running a summer camp at a historic UU church camp in rural North Carolina. She is passionate about fostering strong Unitarian Universalist communities for youth, and emerging and youth adults, and is excited to do that work here at BVUUF. Ellen has added support for the Capital Campaign to her work at the Fellowship. She loves spreadsheets!

Ellen moved to Colorado in 2016 to study at the Rolf Institute, and is now working as a certified Rolfer in private practice. She also works for the UU Church of Boulder as Campus Ministry Coordinator, supporting the Paths Unitarian Universalist Campus Ministry at CU-Boulder. In her free time, Ellen loves to knit, cook, hike, and bike, and is doing a Kaiut Yoga teacher training program.

She will be at the Fellowship the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month, and in the office on Tuesdays. Her flex days will be Wednesday and Saturday. She welcomes your email at youthcoordinator.org.
