Share a Gift – Last Sunday!

Please help brighten the holidays for children in need! We are once again collecting new and gently used toysgames, crafts, books and bikes for Share-A-Gift (SAG), a local, nondenominational, nonprofit, that distributes toys to families in need. Please add your donation to the box in the foyer from Dec. 1-15. SAG particularly needs new toys including:dolls; Hot Wheels race tracks; remote control toys; trucks; gifts for 11-14 year olds (sport team hoodies, manicure sets, sleeping bags, backpacks with school supplies); and bilingual and Spanish books.  Questions, contact Rachel Setzke rachelsetzke@gmail.com.

MITTEN TREE – This Sunday!

Want to share some warmth for the holidays? During both services on Dec. 15, the children will load up the BVUUF holiday tree with store-bought or home-made mittens, hats, gloves and scarves, and donate them to the Emergency Family Assistance Association for the families they serve.  So fire up those knitting needles or grab some extra items and bring them to either service that day. The collection plates for both services will also go to EFAA on Dec.15 for their great work with families in our communities. thanks! Lisa Kahn

Chalica Winter Break Camp  has 4 children registered and may be cancelled if we don’t have a minimum of 15 by next Wednesday, Dec. 18.  Day Camp for Kindergarteners – 5th Graders, and Preschoolers with parent attending.  Don’t go crazy over the winter break, join us for the canvas labyrinth,  swimming at the Rec Center, and Stone Soup as we celebrate our U.U. identity! Register Here!
