9 and 11 a.m. Full Community Gathering in the Sanctuary, first 15 minutes. Children/Youth attend with their parents. Preschool/Nursery is open.

9 and 11 a.m. School of the Spirit

Kindergarten – 6th Grade: Hinduism Children’s Chapel: Diwali with Katie Covey and Sarah Pritchard.  The Hindu Festival of Lights is as important as Christmas to westerners.

9 and 11 a.m. Puppet Preschool/Nursery– “The 10th Good Thing about Barney”  Dealing with death.  A new program using puppets to explore preschool life issues. Rachel Setzke 9 a.m.Teacher  and Laura McCollom 11 a.m. Teacher with Juliette Mettes, high school staffer, and Talia Ferrante-Roseberry, helper at 9 a.m.

8:45 a.m. – 10:15 a.m. 7/8th Our Whole Lives (OWL) Human Sexuality:  Barnum Room with Heather Munro, Jamil Scott, Emily Conger and Scott McCollom. Class is closed to promote trust and confidentiality.

9 a.m. 7-12th grade youth are welcome to help in the Children’s Chapel or attend the service.

10:00 a.m. School of the Spirit

Family Meditation Practice – “Beginning Anew Ceremony for Families” with Evan Kneale, 10:15 a.m. – 10: 40 a.m. Pauling. Bring a cushion or blanket.

Nature Playground – Monitor needed 10 – 11 a.m. this Sunday. Sign up online or on the clipboard in the RE hall.

Youth Choir – Pre-K – 2nd grade Chalice Choir Rehearsal with Tracey Calderon, 10:15 – 10:30 a.m.

Chalice Champs Training  –  3-5th graders – 10:20 – 10:30 a.m. on the dias with Rev. Lydia.

First/Second Grade O.W.L. (Our Whole Lives) Human Sexuality Class Registration is open and online. Class meets 9 a.m. on 8 Sundays this fall. Carol Hughes, Renee Price, and TBA, leaders.

Parent Informational Session, Thursday, 10/10, 7 – 8:30 p.m. Optional Parent Meeting to find out more about the 1/2 OWL program. Please RSVP to attend, and RSVP to request childcare to Katie Covey.

October 13 – Youth Choir ages – 3rd grade and higher – rehearsing for Intergen Bread Service and December Singing

October 20 – INTERGENERATIONAL CHOIR – First Rehearsal – Bring your parents and friends – ALL Youth and Chalice Singers please come as well as any adult or other siblings or grandparents or friends……and sing some fun songs and learn our December Song together…

October 27– Youth Choir ages – 3rd grade and higher – rehearsing for Intergen Bread Service and December Singing

Teacher needed: 11 a.m. Picture Book World Religions. 1 – 2x/mo. Read stories from various world religions with a follow up activity. Teach with Lu Wright and John Hoebel, and Stephanie Moriarty. Calendar here.

Puppet Preschool:  Adult needed for November, 9 or 11 a.m. Each adult teacher will teach for 1 month at a time, to provide consistency, along with Juliette Mettes, our high school preschool staffer, and a 5-8th grade Volunteer Helper. 3,4,5th Grade Chalice Champs – Chalice Champ Training with Rev. Lydia, October 6, 10:20 – 10:30 a.m. on the dias. You and your family are invited to sit in the “Chalice Champs” seat, next to Sam and the piano. By sitting there, the worship leaders knows who the Chalice Champ is, and that’s you!
