Kitty holds a Master’s Degree in Contemplative Psychotherapy, focusing on Mindful Play, and has served as Adjunct Faculty for Naropa University since 2021 in both the MDiv and the Masters of Contemplative Psychotherapy programs. With extensive experience in youth development, Kitty founded “Teens Acting Out”—a non-profit utilizing theater arts to empower young leaders. Kitty also taught conflict resolution to inner-city youth through Americorps and received a degree in Ecological Awareness and the Art of Social Action, with a minor in Religious Studies from Indiana University. Currently, Kitty serves as the past chair of the LREDA Mountain Desert District and has worked as a Chaplain to Youth for the Pacific Western Region of the UUA, as well as an event Chaplain for various UUA events. Kitty brings a wealth of expertise, immense joy, and a deep passion for our community. Kitty’s three children and spouse are frequently found at both the ‘Ship on Sunday mornings and at the Longmont Unitarian Universalist Presence on Fridays.
