Recent years have brought to us a rapidly accelerating rate of change, as well as a deep need for unity and beloved community. There is so much possibility for how our UU values can be engaged in the world, and our congregations thriving centers of spiritual life. Yet, the UUA’s membership has remained stable for over 50 years. On Pledge Kick-off Sunday, we’ll answer Jim Highsmith’s Auction sermon question to me: The UUA: What’s Needed Now? And what’s needed from us, the Fellowship, as we seek to live into our vision of being a “Center for Spiritual Exploration and Justice-making.”
