“Expectation and Covenant” We begin the September theme of Expectation with the Merging of the Waters ceremony — a uniquely Unitarian Universalist tradition celebrated this time of year. Bring water to represent a meaningful moment in your summer as we celebrate the beginning of the church year and remind ourselves of our covenant. All will be invited to join their waters together to augment our congregation’s sacred waters, used during Joys and Concerns and other ceremonies throughout the year. All ages will be a part of this service. Music Director Tad Koriath will be joined by Elisabeth Kern and Gin Ah Lim on violin and Heather Murphy on cello for a Classical Music Sunday.
