When using the website of the Boulder Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (“the Fellowship” or “BVUUF”), you agree to the terms and conditions listed on this page (the “Terms of Service Agreement”), which may be updated by us from time to time.

Bvuuf.org may provide, and third parties may provide, links to other websites or resources. Because the Fellowship has no control over such sites and resources, you acknowledge and agree that the Fellowship is not responsible for the availability of such external sites or resources. You also acknowledge and agree that the Fellowship does not endorse and is not responsible or liable for any content, advertising, products, or other materials on or available from such websites or resources.

You further acknowledge and agree that the UUA shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any content, goods or services available on or through any non-UUA website or resource.

You agree not to: (1) modify bvuuf.org, (2) publish, display, disclose, rent, lease, modify, loan, distribute, or create derivative works based on bvuuf.org or its documentation or any part thereof without the express written permission of the Fellowship, (3) remove, obliterate, or cancel from view any copyright, trademark, confidentiality or other proprietary notice, mark or legend appearing on bvuuf.org, (4) reverse engineer, decompile, translate, adapt or dissemble bvuuf.org, nor shall you attempt to create the source code from the object code for bvuuf.org without the express written permission of the Fellowship, or (5) assign the license for the Service.

Copyright Policy

All materials posted on this site, unless otherwise identified, are owned by the Fellowship and subject to copyright.

The names, trademarks, service marks, and logos of the Fellowship and the UUA appearing on this site may not be used in any advertising or publicity without our prior express written permission. Email requests to websitemaintenance@bvuuf.org.

If you wish to reproduce any material, such as hymns or excerpts from pamphlets or books, published by the UUA or Skinner House Books, please see our guidelines to expedite the permissions process.

Content Disclaimer

The Fellowship attempts to maintain the highest accuracy of content on its website. Any errors or omissions should be reported to websitemaintenance@bvuuf.org.

Web addresses at our site may change periodically because information has been moved, deleted, or reorganized. When this occurs, the old addresses are no longer accurate. When you use an old address, you will get a Page Not Found (404) screen. It may provide you with ways of finding out about the missing page, such as contacting web staff.

Communication Forums

Participation in bvuuf.org’s electronic mailing lists is a privilege and not a right. Mailing list content is not approved by the Fellowship nor does it necessarily reflect the views, policies, or practices of the Fellowship. Posted material not related to the purposes of a particular mailing list may be removed at the sole discretion of the list administrators. The Fellowship reserves the right to suspend participants from mailing lists who violate established standards and rules.

Links to Other Websites

This website contains hyperlinks to websites operated by parties other than the Fellowship. These external hyperlinks are provided for your reference only. The Fellowship does not control such websites and is not responsible for their contents. The inclusion of hyperlinks to other websites does not imply any endorsement of the material on these websites or any association with their operators. Please let us know about existing external links which you believe are inappropriate and about specific additional external links which you believe ought to be included.

Terms and Conditions

As Unitarian Universalists, we believe in the right of conscience and the use of the democratic process in our congregations and in society at large. At the Fellowship, that belief compels us to be suspicious of “clickwrap”, “browsewrap”, and other non-negotiated and/or hidden agreements that seem to litter the Internet these days. So we’re not going to insist that your use of this website “constitutes an acknowledgement of” anything… but we would like to provide some guidelines, as well as notices about stuff that’s legally true whether we print it here or not and whether you read it or not. (Intellectual property law is weird.)

Third-Party Content

The Boulder Valley UU Fellowship contains links to other websites and resources we don’t have control over, so please be aware that we’re not responsible for that stuff. We’ll try not to link to stuff that conflicts with our beliefs and principles.

Website Code

This website is based on the UUA WordPress Theme for Congregations, and some of the code has been modified for our needs. If you’re curious about how any of it works, feel free to reverse-engineer it (within the boundaries of any applicable law) or just contact us at officemanager@bvuuf.org.

Notice of Copyright

All materials posted on this site, unless otherwise identified, are owned by The Boulder Valley UU Fellowship and hereby shared under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International license. That means you can share it, republish it, modify it, remix it, and so on, anywhere in the world — as long as the works you create with it are non-commercial, attributed back to the Fellowship, and shared under the same license.

Here’s the exception: The names, trademarks, service marks, and logos of the Fellowship appearing on this site may not be used in any advertising or publicity without our prior express written permission. Email requests to officemanager@bvuuf.org.
