Music is an important and dynamic part of the life of the Fellowship. Through choral and instrumental performance, congregational singing and guest artists of a wide variety of genre and ensemble, the Music Ministry strives to vibrantly enhance the messages of the week and infuse our weekly Services with energy and spirit.

The Fellowship Singers, our 30+ member choir, performs at Sunday services once per month from late August through June.  Under the direction of Tad Koriath, the Singers rehearse each Wednesday from 7-8:30 p.m. This is a non-auditioned group open to any singer middle-school aged or older who enjoys music-making and wants to contribute to the musical life of the Fellowship. Music reading skills, though helpful, are not required; all efforts are made to accommodate different learning styles and experience levels. Please contact our Director of Music Tad Koriath (musicdirector@bvuuf) for more information.

One Voice, under the direction of Deborah Mensch, is our small, auditioned women’s vocal ensemble which sings at Services and special events several times each year. Members enjoy the challenges of singing music of close and complex harmonies, frequently a cappella, and work together to develop a high level of collective musicianship. Rehearsals are each Wednesday from 6-7 p.m.
Additionally, the Music Ministry is always looking for talented solo-singers and instrumentalists who would like to contribute their gifts to services. If you (or someone you know) would like to offer your time and talent please contact Tad (musicdirector@bvuuf.org).
