April 17

“Sacredness of Everything”
Bruce Martin, Worship Leader; Kelye Lotz, Worship Associate
As we prepare for Earth Day on April 22, we will explore the concept that all of creation is sacred. We will recall too that creation is the physical world around us, and that also includes the ongoing creative process. Consider that we are creation – both as a physical presence and as a creative energy. (And just for fun, we will practice rebooting creation all together!)

This Sunday’s Half-Plate: Agape Family Service Shelter (AFS), a homeless shelter and warming center in Longmont for those in need. With four sites, the shelter opens during the winter months either when the temperature goes below 25 degrees or when an inch of snow or more has accumulated with a low of 32 degrees. AFS works closely with the Homeless Outreach Providing Encouragement (HOPE) to ensure each guest has an evening meal. Nominated by Natalie Parker.
