Sunday Service: Dec. 28, 2014

(Service at 10 a.m.)

“Coming to Peace with Our Past”

Silvine Farnell, Worship Leader; Natalie Parker, Wynn Montgomery, Elena Slusser, Mary Headley,
Memoirists

On this final Sunday of the year, we may reflect on the story of this last year or perhaps the story of our
whole lives. We may be looking for ways to come to peace with difficult times from this year and years
past. This seems like the perfect Sunday, then, to hear from members of the Memoir Writing group, who
will share with us some of the fruits of their writing. The service will be intergenerational, meaning
children will be with us throughout the service.

New Year Mini-Retreat: Don’t miss our mini-retreat Sunday, Jan. 4, at our usual worship times (9
a.m. and 11 a.m.). Find peace through a labyrinth walk with Tibetan bells, a winter walk around Wanaka
Lake, yoga, and collage. Submitted by Rev. Lydia
