February 21

“You Encircle Circling”
Ruth Rinehart, Intern Minister; Brian Kenyon, Worship Associate
Hildegard of Bingen remains an astonishing figure in religious history. As we explore the symbol of the sphere within Unitarian Universalist along with Hildegard’s visions, artwork, and theology, we ask ourselves, “How could the theology of a 12th century nun be relevant in the context of our day?” Join us for Hildegard’s transcendental music by a capella group, Sophia’s Wisdom, and the circling and spiraling of her botany, wisdom, philosophy, artistic creativity, and profound sense of interdependence.

This Sunday’s Half-Plate: Navigators USA is an inclusive, secular, coed scouting organization founded at All Souls UU in New York in 2003. There are now over 120 chapters in the US, including several in Colorado, and sister organizations overseas. Our donations will help Navigators USA support participation by lower-income families and develop curriculum to make it easier to start and run local chapters. Nominated by Deborah Mensch.
