9 a.m. and 11 a.m. services

May 15

“Youth Rites of Passage”
Rev. Lydia Ferrante-Roseberry, Intern Minister Ruth Rinehart and Katie Covey (Director of School of the Spirit), Worship Leaders; Rachel Stevenson, Youth Coordinator, Chris Itano, Worship Associate
9 a.m.: Coming of Age Service
11 a.m.: Bridging Service for Graduating Seniors
Need a little hope and inspiration? Meet the future as we honor and celebrate our youth during these two distinctive services! At 9 a.m., our seventh and eighth grade “Coming of Age” youth will share their “credo statements.” At 11 a.m., we’ll say goodbye to our graduating seniors during our annual “bridging” service. Children fourth grade and up will stay for the services.

This Sunday’s Half-Plate: The Ninth Grade Trip. Since 2007, the Boulder Valley UU Fellowship has sent ninth graders on educational trips. Each year, alumni return matured and deepened in the understanding of Unitarian Universalism, as well as native cultures. Nominated by Katie Covey.
