Sunday Service: Sept. 13, 2015

Services at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Annual “Merging of the Waters” Service
Rev. Lydia Ferrante-Roseberry, preaching; Ruth Rinehart, Worship Associate
Come one, come all to the annual “Merging of the Waters.” We’ll combine water from meaningful places into our “Living Waters,” covenant with Ruth as our intern minister for the upcoming year, and hear our choir under the leadership of our new music director, Jeff Dixon. Back by popular demand, expect to see a 25-foot water slide for some wet fun after each service. (And yes, Rev. Lydia will go down the slide again!)

This Sunday’s Half-Plate: “I Have a Dream”strives to motivate and empower children from low-income communities to reach their educational and career goals by providing a long-term intervention program of mentoring, tutoring, and cultural enrichment. Upon high school graduation, each Dream has the eligibility to receive a scholarship for college or vocational school. Nominated by Diane Ladd.
