Sunday Service: Sept. 20, 2015

Services at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.

“Inner Depth/Outer Focus”
Rev. Lydia Ferrante-Roseberry, preaching; Sean Redmond, Worship Associate
In a world that prefers soundbites to depth, materialism to sustainability, xenophobia to multiculturalism, how do we cultivate the inner resources needed to create a “beloved community”? This service focuses on our theme for the year, “Inner Depth, Outer Focus,” which arose from our visioning work last year. Thanks to the Vision, Innovation, and Action (VIA) Team for their work as we chart our course for the future.

This Sunday’s Half-Plate: Based in Boulder, the Interfaith Network on Mental Illness (INMI) works to increase awareness and understanding of mental illness among members of faith communities. Learn more about INMI’s local and national work at www.interfaithnetworkonmentalillness.org. Nominated by Jan Campbell.
