Earth Day: Living Local

Earth Day: Living Local. Our Transcendentalist Unitarian ancestors were deeply connected to the natural world around them, finding ‘a leaf of grass no less than the journey-work of stars’. (Walt Whitman) On this Earth Day, we’ll revel in the beauty of our locale, and create a climate ribbon tree to commemorate what we love and don’t want to lose. This ALL AGES SERVICE will culminate in a contemplative walk around Waneka Lake for all who are interested.
