Seeing Things Clearly

When we look at the world, and at ourselves, we can have the tendency to see things as worse than they really are (glass half empty) or perhaps better than they are (glass half full). Our faith calls us to a free and responsible search for truth and meaning, so how can we work to ground our perception – our vision – in seeing things as they truly are?
