Sources: Widening the Circle: The Gifts of Earth-Centered Traditions

On this Sunday, we explore the sixth of our Unitarian Universalist sources: Spiritual teachings of Earth-centered traditions which celebrate the sacred circle of life and instruct us to live in harmony with the rhythms of nature. Added in 1995, as part of a growing feminist movement within Unitarian Universalism, the influences of this movement did more than reconnect us with ancient earth-centered spiritualities. Come learn about the lasting gifts and the challenges of the addition of earth-based traditions in our religious midst.
