This kind of danger is not immediately obvious. We’ve been conditioned to think that there is only one true story and that getting it straight is the hard part. But what if there are many perspectives on any event, and we just teased out the one we’re most comfortable with? What influences come to bear on OUR story that we might be unaware of? It is very important to our spiritual growth that we understand these factors in our relationships with other people, with other cultures, and with other species.
