NOTE:There will be ONE Service at 10 a.m. with festivities afterwards, for Stewardship Sunday. Bring your pledge card and give generously!

Explore the theme of Trust in the School of the Spirit: with a ServiceJam creating Mini-Care Packages for the Homeless! Register for Peace and Justice Summer Day Camp with PeaceJam and Project YES!

CircleJam (Opening)- we gather for songs and a Sharing Circle.

10 a.m. “ServiceJam: Mini Care Packages” 
We will create an assembly line for making Mini-Care Packages for the Homeless, using quart sized Ziplock bags. Congregants are invited to keep one in their car or purse to give to a homeless person. We are a GENEROUS people – thanks to all who have donated items and cash!

10 a.m. Preschool/Nursery-  with Miss Ari, Early Childhood Music Specialist and Teacher. Preschool will make their own mini-care packages!

7/8th OWL class, 8:45 a.m. – 10:15 a.m. as usual.

8/9th Grade Coming of Age class, – 12:15 p.m. as usual.

Adult Classes, Sunday, Mar. 1: (Drop In’s Welcome!)

Playground Monitors:  Needed, 11  a.m.  Sign up online  or on the bulletin board. Weather permitting, but the children love to go outside!

Announcements: 

Registration is OPEN for the 2015 Peace and Justice Summer Day Camp with PeaceJam and Project YES.  June 1-5th. K-5th graders. For our 9th annual camp, we go GLOBAL through our collaboration with PeaceJam and Project YES. PeaceJam’s mission is to create young leaders committed to positive change in themselves, their communities, and the world through the inspiration of Nobel Peace Laureates who pass on the spirit, skills, and wisdom they embody.

March: Theme -“Trust”

Mar 8 – MassageJam with Kelly LoGuidice and “Tug of Peace” (thick rope needed. Anyone have an old Perlon rock climbing rope to donate?) (Trust and hope through cooperation)

Mar 15 – Take Apart Party Redux – since the last one was cancelled due to snow.

Mar. 22 – “The Boy Who Cried Wolf” Skit. Parents invited afterwards to the performance. (Losing trust)

Mar. 29 – Nature Jam – Scavenger Hunt for signs of hope for Spring. (We trust that Winter will eventually lose its grip!)

Fifth Grade OWL – April/May (7 sessions); let Katie know if you are interested.

New! Parent Circles Sundays, 9 and 11 a.m. once a month, drop ins welcome!

  • March 15 – Trust: Balancing safety and freedom.
  • April 12 – Redemption: Making mistakes; not being perfect.
  • May 3 – Calling: The call to nurture, what is a parent’s role?

Meet 9 a.m. Thoreau Rm; 11 a.m. Barnum Rm. – your choice! Children are welcome to attend the Preschool/Nursery or SpiritJam.
