The Price of Lying

Lies are everywhere. From something as seemingly benign as “stretching the truth” and “lies of ommission” to devastating lies such as forgaries, climate change denial, and embezzlement, lying has existed as long as humantiy itself. What can we do to shore up our souls against the barrage of lies that crash into our lives? This service topic was chosen by Scott Youmans, who won the “You Name It And I’ll Preach About It” auction item last year.
